Organic Lettuce: Butterhead - Buttercrunch Planting Instructions:
Sow seeds directly in early spring or fall. Plant 1/8” below the surface of the soil and 8 to 12” apart in rows spaced 12 to 18” apart. For a continuous harvest, sow additional seeds every 2 to 3 weeks if cutting full heads. Lettuce is shallow-rooted, so it is essential to avoid disrupting the soil around the plants when you weed. Keep the plants well-watered during dry periods, making sure that you water deeply at least once a week if there is not regular rainfall. Use a layer of compost or clean straw as mulch to help the soil retain moisture.

Organic Lettuce: Butterhead – Buttercrunch Harvesting Instructions:
Harvest Buttercrunch Lettuce as soon as possible after the head forms. Cut the heads off 2” above ground level. New leaves will continue to grow from the remaining center. Alternatively, individual leaves can also be picked before a head forms. The earlier you harvest, the more tender the crop will be.

Did You Know This About Buttercrunch Lettuce?
Buttercrunch Lettuce is an all-time gardener-favorite because of its luscious, buttery texture. The lettuce delivers on its name and is best enjoyed right after harvesting.

Excellent Seeds & Service To Match May 31, 2016
Reviewer: Ty Johnson from fairborn, OH United States
I ordered quite a few seeds and they were all very good.

I only used 1 seed per container, not several seeds and thin out what I don't need and only 2 of the seeds didn't germinate. 1 of the corn and one of the lettuce.

The seeds are sent out very quickly, I remember when they showed up we were shocked they were here so fast.

The seeds are also sealed in a resealable foil pouch to help keep them fresh longer and they have planting directions on each bag.

So like I said Excellent Seeds & Service To Match
