Organic Herb: English Thyme (250mg) Description:
Fresh herbs such as English thyme add flavor and variety to your home cooking. These organic heirloom seeds from Patriot Seeds are Non-GMO and USDA Certified Organic by CCOF. They are open-pollinated so you can grow, harvest, and replant your thyme crop endlessly. Friendly in most growing regions, thyme is a staple seasoning that can be used fresh, or dried and stored for later use. When you’re ready to declare your food independence, buy Patriot Seeds.

Organic English Thyme Planting Instructions:
SPlant your thyme seeds 1/4” deep and 9-10” apart. Give your plants full sun and well-draining soil. Thyme can take awhile to germinate, so don't give up. To get the plants through a cold winter, mulch them after the ground freezes with a light mulch such as pine needles. In the spring, trim the plants back to prevent them from growing too woody.

Organic English Thyme Harvesting Instructions:
As needed, harvest sprigs of thyme throughout the season. You can use your thyme both fresh and dry. To dry and store thyme, harvest sprigs in the early fall. Tie the sprigs together and hang them upside down in a shaded, warm, and well-ventilated area. Once dried, store the thyme in a sealed container. Alternatively, remove the leaves from the stem, lay them to dry on a tray, or freeze them.

Did You Know This About English Thyme?
Young women used to wear a corsage of thyme as an indication that they were single. The fresh thyme fragrance may have helped with the courting process, too.

Looking forward to planting this September 13, 2016

Just got the order and it's not quite planting season yet. But I'm very excited to plant these. It's only 4 stars because I haven't planted anything yet. I'll be happy to update when I do.
Packaging the seeds come in also look like it's of good quality. My clumsiness will not destroy it like I manage to do with the paper seed packets you find elsewhere. My order arrived in a timely manner and so far, all is well.

The best seeds we've ever planted April 13, 2016
Reviewer: Beth from Warner, NH United States
Our family began using My Patriot Supply seeds last year and were very impressed with the quality and crop we received. These are high quality seeds that I can feel good about knowing they are GMO free. This spring I planted early and a friend came to help. She brought some organic seeds from a different company to plant as well and within 24 hours the MPS seeds were already sprouting while hers took more than a week to begin popping up. I highly recommend MPS to anyone who is looking to plant a garden!

I've never been successful at growing thyme, but I'm going to give it a try again.
