Description

Featuring 52 different edible plants found in the North American wilderness, Edible Wild Foods Playing Cards deck is full of valuable information!

Each edible plant is shown in a full-color photograph for easy identification. A map identifies the geographic areas where the plant grows in the wild. The card face explains warnings, characteristics, uses, plant parts, aliases, and special cooking hints. For example, the stems, leaves, flowers, and hips of roses can be eaten raw, sautéed or steamed.

Each Edible Wild Foods 52 card deck comes with a key chain to keep the cards handy during hikes and camping trips. This deck is ideal for hikers, campers, scouts, survival experts, and parents wanting to teach their children about the abundance of wild food around them. Wild Foods Playing Cards have traditional suit marks and can be used for many fun card games.

They are lighter to pack than a book and fun to play with.

Edible Wild foods playing cards December 28, 2016
Reviewer: Dana Gupton from Palestine, WV United States
The cards are well made and informative. The only problem I have is if you play games with them...they are easily memorized. For example, Aloe is an Ace. Not something to play Go Fish with :).

Overall awesome ~ consistently best quality ever December 21, 2016
Reviewer: B from Thousand Oaks, CA United States
This is a must have for anyone! Prepare as much as possible but that still gambles on being able to get to the stockpile in the event of a disaster or emergency. At least know how to survive anywhere anytime.

Stocking Stuffers December 21, 2016
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Kenduskeag, ME United States
Haven't opened the packs yet because they were purchased as stocking stuffers but the transaction was smooth, shipping was quick.  Never a problem with this site and vendor.

Very nicely packaged. One is a gift. The other is with my emergency supplies.
