Organic Tomato: Cherokee Purple (500mg) Description:
Patriot Seeds are certified organic by California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF), Non-GMO, of US origin and friendly to most growing regions. Our open-pollinated Cherokee Purple Tomato heirloom seeds produce large purple full-flavored tomatoes that can be grown, harvested and replanted as needed. Declare your food independence. Packaged and stored in re-sealable triple-layered military-grade Mylar packages for a shelf life of 5 or more years.

Organic Tomato: Cherokee Purple Planting Instructions:
Cherokee Purple Tomato seeds need plenty of light and transplants require full sun to grow well. Plant seeds indoors, 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost is anticipated. Sow seeds 1/2” deep and 1" apart in 3-4” pots. Allow for plenty of light but ensure 8 hours of darkness in every 24 hour cycle. Harden off seedlings by gradually reducing water and fertilizer prior to transplanting. Plant seedlings ½” deep, 30-48” apart, in rows spaced 3-4’ apart. Avoid transplanting too close together, as this may increase the chance of disease and decrease yield. Use a trellis or other support for easier care of plants and harvesting.

Organic Tomato: Cherokee Purple Harvesting Instructions:
Cherokee Purple Tomatoes are ready to pick about 85 days after planting when they are firm and fully colored. Pick the fruit when they are as ripe as possible. Avoid overloaded plants by picking regularly. When the season has ended and frost is anticipated, pick all the near-ripe tomatoes and continue ripening in brown bags or by placing them on newspaper at room temperature.

Did You Know This About Cherokee Purple Tomatoes?
The Purple Cherokee Tomato is a classic tomato, first recorded and reintroduced by PhD Chemist and hobby gardener Craig LeHoulier, who received the seeds from a stranger.

Quality Heirloom Seeds May 18, 2016
Reviewer: Nellie B from Alderson, WV United States
This is our second order from My Patriot Supply and like the first order... we were delighted by the high quality of their seeds and by their excellent... "long storage"... foil packages.  It is clear to us that this is a company that  excels in their Product...Packaging...and concern for their customers satisfaction...and all for a great price!  As far as we're concerned it just doesn't get any better than that...They don't skimp on the amount of seed that they put in those packages either!
