Organic Tomato: Homestead Planting Instructions:

Tomato seeds thrive with plenty of light and transplants continue grow well in full sun. Consider using a grow light to start. Sow seeds six to eight weeks before transplanting outside. Plant seeds 1/8" deep, 1" apart in warm moist soil 75F to 90F using flats or cells. Reduce water and fertilizer to harden off plants. Avoid exposure to cold temperatures which can diminish their growth. Transplant at a distance of 12-24" apart when temperatures reach 70F. Set them so that the soil level is just below the lowest leaves. Tomatoes need a consistent supply of moisture. If it rains less than 1" per week, water to make up the difference.

Organic Tomato: Homestead Harvesting Instructions:
Homestead Tomatoes are ready to harvest about 80 days after planting. Fruit that is fully ripened on the vine has a much fuller flavor than fruits that are picked early and then allowed to ripen. Pick tomatoes when the skin still looks smooth and waxy, even if the top hasn't turned its' mature red color.

I enjoy the packaging of the seeds.....the sealed packets indicate an optimum storage until needed. I also like the re-seal capabilities with the ziplock - good for keeping out moisture.
