I'm anxious to try these. I will be using them on my pickles. I think it's the closest thing to the old zinc lids with the rubber bands that you can't get anymore.

I have used these lids in the past and they are perfect for a self reliance situation. Very easy to use and will hold up when used in a pressure canner. They may be a little pricy up front, but take care of them and they will last a long time.
