Tasty, gets crispy on the outside, with a meaty texture inside. Definitely satisfying.

Great burgers! February 11, 2018

I read the reviews and took a chance and bought two cans - one to try now and one to put away. What a nice surprise!  Very tasty, stuck together well with nothing else added, and didn't need any extra seasoning except for all the extras like a bun, lettuce tomato and cheese! I made a thin patty and it cooked fast and crispy. I am a vegetarian and don't like most of the veggie burgers in grocery stores or the recipes I have tried. Most don't hold together or are cardboard-y or squishy. My husband is a meat eater and took a few bites and liked the taste! We'll have these for dinner tomorrow. I will be buying a couple more cans!

Black Bean Yumm! January 5, 2018
Reviewer: Robert H from Wheeling, WV
I just got my #10 can of Black Bean Burger mix from the fed ex guy. I was hungry so I couldn't wait to try some. I mixed up the recomended serving size and that was a bit small for me so I doubled it and got what appeared to be a patty that was about the size of 1/4 beef patty. Former her up and threw her in a skillet lightly sprayed with butter pam. 6.5 minutes or so later I had a nicely browned patty. I took my first bite and was impressed by the flavor and the texture. I wish I had gone to the store earlier and got some burger making stuff...lettuce, tomato, cheese, etc. As it was I ate my patty plain with ketchup and mustard. Very tasty. I could easily see this replacing ground beef in my diet. Great shipping time too and delicious mix.
