Organic Beans: Blue Lake Pole FM1 Planting Instructions:
Sow directly in soil in late spring, once soil is warm and there is no chance of frost. If temperatures are lower than 60°F, cover garden loosely with black plastic to retain heat from the sun. Direct sow in loose, moist soil 1 ½" deep and 6" apart. Pole beans require a support to vine upon, such as stakes or trellis. Stagger planting every two weeks to help your harvest produce longer into the growing season.
Organic Beans: Blue Lake Pole FM1 Harvesting Instructions:
Harvest beans throughout the growing season, when beans are firm and can be snapped off the vine. It will take around 62 days to mature after sowing. Snap gently off the vine by pulling them off by the base of the stem. They will feel thick and juicy when ready to harvest. Do not wait too long to harvest, as beans will become too tough.
