- Black Beauty Eggplant seeds prefer warm, rich soil and full sun.
- Sow seeds indoors 6 weeks before the last anticipated frost date. Plant 1/4 inch deep in deep flats or cells. Keep soil temperature around 80°F or greater.
- Transplant outdoors once warm weather returns and soil temperature is around 60°F or greater.
- Set transplants 18 to 24 inches apart in rows 30 to 36 inches apart.
