Organic Cabbage: Golden Acre (1g) Description:

Golden Acre Cabbage is a healthy source of vitamin C and fiber. These mini cabbages are a favorite in gardens because they grow relatively quickly. You can eat your homegrown Golden Acre Cabbage raw or cooked in a variety of dishes. Grow Organic Cabbage using Golden Acre seeds from Patriot Seeds. Our seeds are 100% heirloom, Non-GMO, certified organic by CCOF and can be stored for 5+ years in their re-sealable triple-layer Mylar packages. Cabbage is a hardy crop, friendly to most growing regions.

Organic Cabbage: Golden Acre Planting Instructions:

Start seeds inside 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost of the spring or direct sow the seeds outside once the soil temperature is 40°F and the soil is workable. Plant seeds in a place with full sun, ¼ to ½" deep and 3" apart. When the plants are 4 to 6 weeks old, you can start transplanting your seeds into rows 1 to 2' apart, in plantings 18 to 34" apart. Use mulch to preserve soil moisture, protect the roots, and reduce competition between plants. Grow time is 65 days.

Organic Cabbage: Golden Acre Harvesting Instructions:

Cabbage can be harvested at any time, but you will get the best yield if you cut the heads when they are solid. To check, apply pressure to the cabbage head with your hand. Harvest quickly, before outdoor conditions cause the cabbage heads to crack or split.

Got just what I wanted/expected. April 28, 2017

I have just planted my seeds for starter plants at this point.  I am pleased that the number of seeds received per packet were as promised.  I've been burned by other vendors, who don't give the seed count advertised.  The ordering process was easy and efficient.  Will review further as I see how the garden grows!  Love they're organic/heirloom!  Easy ordering, great product information and customer service.

Speedy Delivery! February 3, 2016
Reviewer: InlandNorthwest from Newman Lake, WA United States
Seeds packed in well-marked, resealable  foil packets. Would have liked more plant description, i.e. height, days til germination, days til harvest, any special needs (afternoon sun protection, etc.) instead of instruction to visit website for more information on packet. Have requested hardcopy catalog for reference.  Still too early to start/direct plant...
