Organic Pumpkin: Connecticut Field Planting Instructions:
After the last frost, sow Connecticut Field Pumpkin seeds into warm, fertilized soil in full sun. Sow directly into the garden in groups 1" deep, with each group 4-6' apart. Vines should be given plenty of room to spread. Seedlings will emerge in 7-14 days. Thin to 2-3 seedlings per group when they reach 1-2" in height. For extra-large pumpkins, allow only one fruit per plant to reach full maturity.

Organic Pumpkin: Connecticut Field Harvesting Instructions:
Harvest your Connecticut Field Pumpkins when the rinds are firm and the pumpkin is vibrant orange in color. Pumpkins are also ready to harvest when a light frost first kills the vines. Use pruning shears to cut pumpkins from the vine, leaving 3" of the stem. Pumpkins should be allowed to cure in the sun for one week in order for skin to harden.

Conneticate Pumpkin September 30, 2015
Reviewer: Dave from Eugene, Oregun
I grew these pumpkins this year and am amazed at their size.  The plant only grew 2 pumpkins, one that I harvested in late July and the other one is still growing on Sept. 30.
