Lemon Mint is a fresh herb with beautiful flowers that can be used in teas, potpourris, homemade salves, and more. Grow Conventional Non-Organic Lemon Mint using 100% Non-GMO heirloom seeds from Patriot Seeds. Our seeds are open-pollinated, so you can grow, harvest, and replant your crop endlessly. Once harvested, mint can be used fresh or dried for later use.
Lemon Mint Planting Instructions:
Lemon Mint takes about 90 days to grow. Plant seeds in full sun or partial shade. Seeds can be planted indoors or directly into outdoor soil in mild areas starting in mid-spring. Plant 1/4 to 1/2 inches deep, spaced 18" apart. Using mulch around the plants can help protect the crop and keep the roots cool and moist. In most frost-free zones, Lemon Mint can also be grown throughout the fall and winter.
Lemon Mint Harvesting Instructions:
Lemon Mint is ready to harvest when the lavender-colored flowers open. To encourage continued flower growth, cut the flowers an inch below the lowest petal. Mint can be used fresh, but the flavor will be much more potent if it is dried. To dry, hang flowers upside down in a warm, shady, airy area .
