CHARGING
A beginner at using solar panels I was eager to test the amount of time required for a full charge. There was an overcast on and off on that day, and it took around 6 hrs to get a full charge. On a sunny day, it charged in about 3 1/2 hr. I think having another solar panel could improve that time and that is something I may add to it. I recommend you get two panels and "get the job done."

SIMPLE, EASY TO USE, LOVE THE SOLAR PANELS
Haven't used this setup in an emergency thank goodness, however I have used this while camping. It was great to be able to recharge our electronics virtually as many times as we wanted due to the massive battery storage capacity. I needed to get one of these due to having been the victim of a power substation attack. We were without power for a week while they worked on getting power back up. We had a different brand and older model version of this but had no way to charge it. If I am ever in that scenario again, its comforting knowing that I will be able to charge my battery with the included solar panels.

Finally Took The Plunge
I’ve used my solar generator and it works fine. I’ve not yet tasted the food but I have bought quite an amount of it over the years. I have also purchased some for gifts! I think it’s a very good idea to keep this type of food on hand for emergencies.
