Do you wait until the gauge says empty before you put gas in your car? If so you’re doing yourself no favors. Same thing applies to food preps. Why wait until you’re sitting on the side of the road in either case. Things go bad, ok worse than now, there won’t be a AAA or your uncle Bob to call for help. The “gubmint”, really? State or federal? Good luck with that. I laughed when I got the email from MPS sorta welcoming me to prepping. I’ve been preparing for the inevitable for decades. You can get off your butt and be ready or hope you can get some of that delicious gubmint cheese. Hopefully you’ll only use your food storage for camping trips with the family. But... what if the grocery store shelves are empty? It’s happening today in Texas. Remember Katrina, Sandy etc.? Freeze dried food makes sense right, it’s light, stable and readily available...today. I did a lotta research and MPS was the best bang for the buck. I actually bought from them 2-3 years ago to stock my camper. Nice people and exceptional customer service. Like all they have a bit more oatmeal and such than I’d like to see but it’s there and ready to go, or stay as needed. Just do it, BEFORE the tank runs dry. I like free cheese but not standing in line for days to get it. It’ll go well with that tarter sauce and pop tarts you have now.
