The heavy-duty plastic ammo crate is great for storing all types of items including meals, first aid, or survival items. The lid features a water resistant O-Ring seal with metal latch and locking hasp. The contents can be secured with a standard padlock (not included). The folding handle and molded stacking ridges allow for easy stacking and storage.
Battery Care: As with all battery-run devices, proper upkeep is critical for the prolonged function of your radio. If the unit is left to sit for long periods, the battery can drain and even become inoperable. Make sure to charge the battery every few months to extend its life and performance.

We bought this so that we can always be ready should we encounter an emergency. Anything can happen in the cold winter months. We take this with us whenever we go on the road. We added a few small things of our own, but really the kit does give us peace of mind. If you want to have at least the very basics in an emergency while on the road, this is it. It is compact and does not take up much space.

Love this company so far! I'm new to prepping; my little brother is apparently an expert and recommended MPS for me to get started. This kit is nice as a grab and go, (bug out, I've learned). The coolest thing in there is the radio. It has so many functions, four ways to charge it, and direct access to weather; plus a flashlight, sos light, and reading light. I charged it up all the way, but it worked out of the box before that. Lot's of other great things in there you don't have time to think of in a hurry. Good to have. I put some batteries in the box as well, they fit right in the space for the cord, and will check the charge every few months.
