Marketmore 76 Organic Cucumber Planting Instructions:
Cucumbers need warm soil and air, as they are very sensitive to cold. Whether you direct seed or transplant your cucumber seeds, they will not germinate if the soil temperature is lower than 50 F. They only germinate slowly at 68 F. Plant 1/2 inch deep and 3" apart in full sun. Thin to 8-15 inches apart in rows of 2 to 3 plants per hill. Snip off plants when thinning to avoid disturbing the roots of neighboring plants.
