"I have not yet had the opportunity to break this out as yet. However, I really like the design of this. It's compact and sturdy. I got my matches out of their original container and put them in here. Holds a pack of 40 quite easily. Also there is an extra striker pad in the bottom section too which will be handy. This container can easily fit in your go bag or other preps too!"

- We've been advised it is about 13 wooden matches.
- Is this needed for waterproof matches? I thought the purpose of this item was to keep moisture out. But is that necessary for matches that are waterproof?
- It wouldn't be necessary for waterproof matches, you can carry them however is more convenient for you.
