| FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. My appliance/device’s power is within the rated output power range of the product but it’s not working when I plug it into the Grid Doctor. What’s going on?
The battery of the GRID DOCTOR is low and needs to be recharged. When some electrical appliances start up, the peak surge power is higher than the rated surge power of the 3300 Solar Generator System. The nominal power of the electrical device is greater than the power that can be supplied by the 3300 Solar Generator System. Please check the power requirements of the electrical device and verify it can be powered by the 3300 Solar Generator System.

2. Why is there a noise when using my Grid Doctor?
The noise comes from the cooling fan, which cycles on and off during use depending on temperatures. This is perfectly normal. There can also sometimes be a faint noise caused by a relay that switches when you start or stop using it.

3. Is it normal for the AC Charging Cable to heat up during use?
Yes, and it’s nothing to worry about. The AC Charging Cable complies with national safety standards and has passed certification.

4. What devices can the Grid Doctor 3300 Solar Generator support through the AC outlets?
The AC outlets are rated for 3300W. They are able to power most home appliances with a power rating lower than 3300W. Please make sure the total load is under 3300W before use (most devices/appliances/power tools etc. have their wattage rating printed somewhere on the device itself).

5. How do I find out how much power the Grid Doctor 3300 Battery has remaining?
Please check the display. The remaining power is shown by percentage.

6. How do I know the Grid Doctor 3300 Battery is charging?
When the battery is charging, the “INPUT” wattage will be shown on the display and the power percentage will blink.

7. How should I clean the Grid Doctor 3300 Solar Generator System?
Use a dry, soft cloth or tissue to wipe the product. Do not use harsh chemical cleaners.

8. How should I store the Grid Doctor 3300 Solar Generator System?
Please store your Grid Doctor in a dry environment away from water sources. We recommend storing the 3300 Battery unit in a temperature-controlled location, plugged into a power source (AC or Solar). This ensures your battery is fully charged and ready to use in case of an emergency. If you are unable to store the battery plugged into a power source, check it every 3 months and charge it to an acceptable level.

9. Will my Grid Doctor 3300 Solar Generator work with the Grid Doctor 2200XP Expansion Battery?
The Grid Doctor 3300 Solar generator System is 100% compatible with the Grid Doctor 2200XP Expansion Battery Kit. Connect up to seven 3300XP or 2200XP units to a single 3300 system for even more power!
