"I like this mix of sprouting seeds for my small batch mason jar sprouting. I let the seeds soak overnight then rinse and drain a few times a day for a few days before eating. Delightful in salads and sandwiches, or generous sprinkle on soups, pizza and pasta just before serving. Radish gives a nice 'bite' and clover gives a nice 'earthy' note to a clean tasting mix. This is a very healthy mix for immune enhancing enzymes - delicious variety to add nutrition."

- Hi - I had purchased 2 Sprouting Seed Kits and a bunch of seeds last year and some towards the end of Nov. 2022.My grandson visited for a week and we planted 4 types of seeds in one of the trays on Sunday afternoon. Yesterday, they were all sprouting, but not enough for us to use them for our Thanksgiving dinner. Today, his Mom notified me that the 4 part Salad Sprouting Mix and the Bean Salad Sprouting Mix had sprouted more but looked like they had mold on them. I'm wondering what could have caused it? This is such a bummer as I was planning on getting out my second tray and starting some for myself, but I'm very allergic to mold. She did send me photo's but doesn't look like I can attach them here.Thank you. Leigh Storz
- Thank you for reaching out to us and allowing us to address your concerns. Most of the time sprouting seeds, if rinsed properly per the packet instructions do not create mold but Cilia hairs. These hairs are white and fuzzy and a sign that they are trying to get more water.They are odorless and they disappear when you rinse the sprouts well and reappear a few hours later. They do not feel slimy to the touch, unlike mold that does have a feel and odor. Please let us know if this is not the case and we would be happy to assist!
