The Aquamira (chlorine dioxide): a few drops of this treatment in a container of water help prevent mold, bacteria, and other contaminants from spoiling your supply. Drinking Water Treatment Tablets by Potable Aqua make most water bacteriologically suitable for drinking.
- How long will the treated water last if stored in plastic gallons?
- Treated water can last indefinitely if stored in a clean container and kept away from sunlight and extreme temperatures. However, it's best to replace the water every 6 to 12 months for taste.
