"I love my new Alexapure Pro water filter system. It is so easy to set up and use and I love having nice clean water at my disposal all the time. I only wish the company had told me they were going to be offering a new generation filter just a few days after I ordered mine. I ordered the kit with 4 filters, so it will be a long time before I need to order filters again. Just seems a bit unfair that they won't exchange the old generation filters with the new ones."
"Twice now I've gotten bad filters from My Patrio for the Alexa Pri filter. Very poor customer service. I would give them a zero if I could. My husband was sick and needed purified water. Their filter wasn't working. Their answer? Do this 72 hour test on my filter. No understanding of customer needs. Look elsewhere. Don't buy filters here at $120 a filter and then get bad ones."
"I received my Alexapure fast and it was very easy to assemble. I went from the Alexa pure pitcher to the Alexapure 2.5 gallon filter system. I love it and highly recommend it. If you have a lot of disposable money. When this filter stops working I will go back to tap water. I spend 250.00 for container but filters are completely over priced. I love this unit but cannot afford to spend a $1000.00 to replace filters every 3 months or even every 6 months. For the operation of the unit it s great. But being able to keep it operational is totally in my case unattainable. Great product Completely over priced."
"These are a nice alternative to the berkeys and I've been using them for a number of years now. The price is decent and filtration works fairly well. It's nice to see an updated version. The main issue that I take is the fact that these filters are still made from plastic. That should essentially be a no-go for anyone who's concerned about their health. My honest review is don't buy these as long as they're still plastic and maybe these companies will start to get the point."
"Like many cities that supply the water to your home. . . you can't drink it. I personally don't like the taste of chlorine in my drinking water. In comes the Alexapure Pro system after doing the 5-gallon jugs refills at the local store. Water tastes amazing. TDS level reads a 215 on the ZeroWater tester I had. Not sure what's in those TDS's - but the chlorine taste is fully removed. Wasn't sure how a drip filter works, but works well and fills the reservoir pretty quickly for a drip system. Unit was ordered and sitting on the front porch 4 days later. 3 months into owning this and would do all over again. Quality experience with the unit and Patriot Supply -"
"Called Virginia with questions about the Alexapure Pro. She answered my questions and was extremely helpful, took my order and it arrived in a couple of days. Shipped and arrived with no issues. She followed up with a call after it delivered to make sure I was satisfied with the service and the product. WHO does that anymore? My Patriot Supply surpasses all of my expectations. I have Virginia’s direct number for all future orders. Thank you My Patriot Supply for an exceptional experience."
"Upon receiving this with the extra filters the packaging was stout, now damage whatsoever to any contents. I've used these in the past and purchased this one to move into the Bug In & Bug Out storage. Based on previous use these things are amazing at cleaning water real-time as needed. No 30 minute wait for tables to do their thing and while personal systems are great for on the go you simply can;t get 10+ people to drink out of a straw. This is great for on the go groups and for individuals bugging in."
"I'm still on my original filter. Lake Michigan water is a "fairly" clean source of water, relatively speaking. I drank water from the hose as a kid. Last decade or so, I started drinking water & liquids that came more from the tap, as opposed to cans/bottles. As good as the lake water is, it still had a "taste", and I wanted something more pure. I regard my Alexapure as an investment, and with the original filter, it still tastes great after all this time!! The replacement filter is still in its package, but I'm not sure when I'll need it."
"This is our second MPS water filtration system to purchase. We keep sending them off to college with our kids. This is a great all-around system, especially for renters. Water tastes great and we feel confident knowing the kids' water is drinkable no matter where they live."
"The Alexapure is a fantastic water filtration unit. It's simple. Requires no power, other than gravity. It filters a lot of contaminants out of regular tap water, let along tainted water. And the WATER TASTES GREAT!"
Each Alexapure Pro filter is rated for up to 200 gallons of filtration*, depending on the quality of the water you’re filtering. You don’t have to keep track of every gallon—when you notice a significant decrease in flow rate, that’s a good indication it’s time for a replacement.
Replacement filters are sold separately, so you can keep extras on hand and swap in a fresh filter when needed. You can find them here
Yes. The Alexapure Pro can use up to four filters at once—and every filter you add gives you two benefits: faster flow and more filtration capacity.
Two filters provide approximately twice the flow rate and up to 400 gallons of combined filtration capacity. Install four, and you can get approximately four times the flow rate and up to 800 gallons of combined capacity before replacement.
That means less time waiting for filtered water and longer between filter changes, giving you more filtration capacity already in place when clean water matters most.
Yes. Alexapure Pro can filter freshwater from your tap, private well, lakes, rivers and streams—giving you a way to keep filtering when your normal water supply is unsafe, unavailable or simply not an option.
That’s also why we tested beyond everyday tap-water contaminants. Alexapure Pro was tested for bacteria, Giardia- and Cryptosporidium-sized cysts, turbidity, particulates, agricultural chemicals and other contaminants that can become especially important when relying on compromised or untreated freshwater sources.
For water known or suspected to be microbiologically unsafe, follow any applicable boil-water or disinfection guidance in addition to filtration. Alexapure Pro is designed for freshwater only and should not be used with saltwater.
The new Alexapure Pro builds on the gravity-fed system customers have trusted for years with meaningful upgrades to filtration, speed, capacity and ease of use.
The all-new filter delivers 2X faster flow, requires no priming, and has undergone Alexapure’s most extensive testing program yet, covering 220+ contaminants across 12 essential categories. The upper and lower chambers have also been expanded from 2.25 to 2.5 gallons, all while providing an under-cabinet footprint.
Production of the filters is now entirely performed by Alexapure, here in the US, giving the greatest control over manufacturing and quality from start to finish.
It’s everything learned from more than a decade of Alexapure built into the next generation.
Yes. The new Alexapure Pro is designed to work with both generations of filters. The new system includes adapters that allow you to use original Alexapure Pro filters, so any filters you already have on hand don’t go to waste.
And compatibility works both ways. The new Alexapure Pro filters quick-connect adapters that allow them to be used with the original Alexapure Pro system.
Either way, you're covered to use what you already have on hand.
Alexapure Pro is designed for simple upkeep. Clean the stainless steel chambers periodically with fresh water, mild soap and a soft cloth. If you notice buildup on the filter or a decrease in flow, remove the filter and gently clean the exterior under running water—never use soap or detergent on the filter.
After cleaning, reassemble the system and make sure all connections are secure before refilling. With routine care, your Alexapure Pro is ready to keep filtering whenever you need it.
No. Unlike Reverse Osmosis, distillation, or deionization systems, Alexapure Pro is designed to target unwanted contaminants without stripping your water of its naturally occurring dissolved minerals. In-house testing showed that overall dissolved mineral levels remained consistent before and after filtration.
*Performance and capacity are based on controlled laboratory testing. Actual results may vary depending on water quality, target contaminant and usage.
It is essential to follow operational, maintenance, and filter replacement requirements as directed for each application for this filter and system to perform correctly. Read the information accompanying the system and change the filter as suggested. The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water filter are not necessarily in all users’ water.
