
Chipotle has pulled jalapeños from some restaurants as federal health officials investigate a Salmonella outbreak tied to contaminated peppers. The outbreak has sickened people across multiple states, and investigators are also looking at jalapeños served at QDOBA as part of the same outbreak. The FDA says the peppers were supplied by Agricola Llanos de Mexico through Coast Citrus Distributors, and restaurants removed or replaced the affected jalapeños after being alerted to the possible connection. Health officials are urging anyone who ate jalapeños at affected restaurants and developed symptoms to contact a health care provider.
