USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service has issued a public health alert for various raw beef and pork products produced by Blackwing Organic Meats Company in Antioch, Illinois. The concern is that these products were produced without the benefit of federal inspection and may carry a false USDA mark of inspection. The affected items were produced from April 2024 through March 2026 and shipped to wholesale and retail locations nationwide. FSIS says no illnesses or injuries have been confirmed, but some of these products may still be in store or consumer freezers, and customers are being told not to eat them.
