"I buy for long-term storage. But I try everything I buy, too before I make a second order I just purchased this recently and tried it the day I got it. I would give it 5 stars and we'll order some more. I read the ingredients first. When I saw it had Creamer in it. I knew it was going to be a smooth product."
Mixed feelings/ Old product
"The pudding is really tasty. The first batch was pkg last year. I reordered 3 more cases, along with several other products. The next 3 boxes were from 2024, along with the beef dices, the chicken, and the whey milk. I reached out to My Patriot Supply, and tried to get FRESH replacements, and after a long explanation that amounted to nothing, I paid for old products sitting in a warehouse that very UNLIKELY was kept at the suggested temperature of 55° to 70° for proper long term storage over 18 mts of the products storage life, therefore decreasing the life of said product. I was frustrated, but even more so when I opened another companies products the next day, and they were ALL PACKAGED in MAY OF 2026. I had purchased the package protection, and it wasn't any good for the said issues. I was offered a $55. Credit for 2 cases of beef dices, 1 case of chicken, 1 case of whey milk, and 3 cases of Rice pudding. Do the math on that!!"

Disaster Not Required
"I'm a full-time RV'er and while we always like to be prepared for emergencies we also have to be extremely mindful of weight. To accomplish both of these goals we have stocked our pantry with a variety of Ready Hour products. While we maintain a stock for emergencies, we also have stock for everyday use. Just this week we used the rice pudding as our dessert for a few nights. Making half a bag at a time. It is convenient, shelf-stable, and is incredibly good. Other items we like to keep on hand for regular use are eggs, milk, butter, and beef, not to mention a stock of the Beyond Outdoor Meals. Sometimes you get busy and just don't have time to break out all the cooking utensils, ingredients, pots, and pans. So, turn on the kettle or however you boil water and in a few minutes you have a really good meal. And, I can honestly say that I have not found a single one that both my wife or I did not like. I'm not going to say it's better than my home cooked, simmered all day, recipes, but it's damn close and in 1/10th or less the time. Also, I'm a firm believe in, don't expect what you don't inspect. Buy some extra, fix it in a non-emergency, and figure out all the things that make it easier, faster, or better. Then in the event of an emergency you are good-to-go!"
