Great soup!
"We had a snow storm and I wanted soup. I remembered we had the Black Bean soup in our stash. It was a win-win. . . we get soup and I get to try this soup I had no intentions of opening. I opened 3 packages. Each package contained the oxygen pack. It cooked quickly! I only have one thing that could have been improved. I had to add a lot of extra salt and additional seasonings to make it taste good. Keep in mind, if solely used for apocalyptic situations, this soup will keep you alive and you'll love it! I think I expected it to taste amazing because it does have seasoning but it wasn’t quite there. Be sure to add salt and seasonings to your stash! **Cornbread not included. Overall satisfied and still happy with it!"

"Shipping/Packaging: always in a timely manner. This recent purchase will be put away for emergencies/hurricane season. We have tried the Cherrywood mashed potatoes before, and they are excellent (puts Red Mill and Idahoan to shame). Whenever we order a new item, we’ll open one package and "taste test”…The pouches make it easy to try an item before committing to larger quantities, and since it is just the two of us, they are the perfect amount (vs. #10 cans). - How durable are the food pouches? Water proof? Critter proof?
- The pouches are triple sealed, heavy-duty 4 layer, resealable pouches. You may want to put case pack pouches in a durable container.
- I have Sjögren’s, and cannot have anything spicier than mild ‘picante’. Will this soup be too spicy for me?
- That is a great question. It does have a kick to it, so we would have you consult your nutritionist or family dr. to make sure this food is ok with what you can have.
- Where does your modified food starch come from as most of it is gulten.. wouldn't want to get sick after trying to survive

- You can keep them stored in the box they came in to keep that 25 year shelf life. Just make sure rodents cannot get to it before you want/need to use it.
