EMP Intercept Technology

Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)

Passthrough Charging

Allows the user to charge the unit from any source, while still using the unit to power their appliances/devices. This eliminates the need to wait for a full charge before use, since the unit can be charged and used at the same time.

LiFePO₄ Battery Chemistry

A longer-lasting, more stable battery type rated for 3,500 charge cycles, improved safety, and better performance over time compared to standard lithium-ion or lithium-polymer batteries.

The Grid Doctor 3300 delivers 2,048 watt hours of power capacity. Available expansion batteries each have the same 2,048 watt hour capacity, and the system is capable of managing up to 7 expansion batteries simultaneously. Therefore the total capacity is scalable up to 16,384 watt hours, depending on the user's needs.

Additionally, the Grid Doctor 3300 is capable of supporting 5 200-watt solar panels connected simultaneously, for a total allowable solar input of 1,000 watts.

Storage Temperature & Environment

• Recommended storage temperature: 68°F–86°F (20°C–30°C)
• Acceptable operating discharge range: 14°F–104°F (-10°C–40°C)
• Charging temperature range: 32°F–104°F (0°C–40°C)
• Store in a dry, well-ventilated area away from heat sources and metal objects.

Avoid:

• Prolonged storage above 113°F (45°C)
• Long-term exposure to freezing temperatures
• Direct sunlight in enclosed spaces (such as vehicles)
• High-humidity or wet environments

Charging Recommendations

• For long-term battery health, avoid storing the unit fully discharged (at 0%), charge to at least 60% capacity before storing.
• Recharge every 3 months during extended storage periods.
• Use only manufacturer-approved cables and accessories.
• When charging, ensure adequate airflow. The unit may feel warm during charging; this is normal.

Maintenance Requirements

• This is a sealed LiFePO4 battery system and requires no fuel stabilization, no oil changes, no engine maintenance, and no routine mechanical servicing.
• Maintenance is limited to keeping ports clean, inspecting cables for wear and occasional charging when stored long term.
