"I love mushrooms and rice pilaf but I agree with Jesse, this was awful and would only eat if starving☹️. I kept looking to make sure I had removed the oxygen absorber because there was a taste that I can’t describe that was not good. Very disappointing."

"As a professional planner, I try everything I buy and give my two cents. I have a couple of problems with this product. One- is the amount of resources to make it, it uses six cups of water and in a true emergency water will be worth its weight in gold. Also, you have to bring it to a boil and then continue cooking for additional 20 minutes, so you would need a robust cooking system. The largest problem I had was the taste. I did not expect a five star taste but even for freeze-dried meals, this fell way below standards. In an absolute emergency of this is all you had to eat it would work but it would be very low on the selection for me."
