Silent Generator
"purchased item above for two reasons. The fact it’s solar generated means I never run out of fuel, and the system makes no noise. Neighbors will know I have electricity but because it’s silent they won’t be irritated at night when they are trying to sleep. Patriot Supply ships product quickly and they are quality. I bought the Grid Doctor 3300 with additional solar panel and 75 foot extension cord so the generator is inside the house, and will never be exposed to weather. The longer cord gives me more flexibility in positioning the solar panels."

"We purchased the larger generator and two solar panels a few weeks before Hurricane Helene hit Western North Carolina. We were moving from a natural gas fueled whole house automatic Generac generator to a more densely populated area on only electric. After five days in the new house, the hurricane hit. We went looking for our new solar generator and panels to quickly learn how to use them. We were amazed, relieved, and delighted to see that the generator was fully charged!! We got to know our neighbors by letting them charge their phones and plug in their refrigerators for a hour or so. (I know, real survivalists are cringing at the thought. This is a retirement community and if this was the real deal, most of the older adults would give all to the younger ones and fade away. ) Recharging took time, even with two 100 watt solar panels. Very cloudy days for a bit. But, we had water, lights, phones, computers, refrigerator and freezer. Thank you!"

- Can we store the solar panels outside in a protective but not insulated container? Is it necessary to have an EMP Milt. grade protection for the solar panels. We have the one you offered for the larger solar generator. Do you have one for the smaller one? Don't see this product offered under "Solar Power Generators" I'll check under "Survival Items", In case they are there. Thanks.
- Yes, the solar panels can be stored outside in protective cover. Also, when storing these panels outdoors, they will need to be in an area in which extreme heat or extreme cold and a dedicated area in which physical damage can be avoided. Typically, EMP protection is not something that is required for solar panels themselves; if this is something you feel is beneficial and additional safeguarding,. We currently do not offer a dedicated EMP protection product for the smaller solar panels
- Is this panel compatible with the 3300?
- Yes, the 100-watt panel can be hooked up to the 3300-watt generator, but it will build the charge level slower.
- Will this run my refrigerator
- That is a great question! The 300 w generator will not power a full size refrigerator. It will however power a mini fridge. If you are looking for bigger electronics to power, we suggest the 2200 w unit.
- Will this work for the 2000x?
- We can not guarantee that it would work for a different unit as it is based on our Grid Doctor 300W.
