- Most sprouting seeds will maintain a very high germination rate for several years, after which itwill begin to decline a bit. However these sprouting seeds are designed by nature to keep forextraordinary lengths of time and still sprout. While each bag is marked with a bestgermination rate if used by date, the seed does not really expire on that date and will sproutfor many years, especially if stored properly in a cool place.

- With the Organic Protein Powerhouse Sprouting Seeds Mix by Patriot Seeds, the trays do not come with soil. If you are using the sprouting trays no soil is needed. Once they have sprouted you can remove from tray and store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to a week and begin sprouting more.
