"I purchased a 7 pack of these FIVE YEAR bars on July 22 2026, I received them on July 24. They were all manufactured on January 2025. Thus making them 3. 5 year bars. Was told I would have to pay the return shipping and only get store credit. I feel like I purchased new old stock! After a few e-mails back and forth I have to spend more money to resolve this. CHECK YOUR MANUFACTURE DATES"

"I think that they're useful for an emergency only item. To me, the flavor they tout isn't even close to the cookies I love so much. But they aren't too bad, and if you get stuck somewhere out of the way and you carry these and an emergency filtering straw, you'll be just fine. BTW, I hope that you've got an emergency blanket or sleeping bag with uoy, too!"
