To do this, remove the filter from the pitcher, submerge it completely in water for 24 hours to force trapped air out, and then reassemble and use the pitcher as normal. Steps to Reprime Your Alexapure Filter 1. Remove the filter:Take the filter out of the pitcher's upper chamber.2. Submerge the filter:Place the filter in the lower chamber (or a separate container), ensuring the stem is not submerged so air can escape.3. Soak for 24 hours:Keep the filter submerged in water for 24 hours. This will help release trapped air bubbles from the filter's pores.4. Reassemble the pitcher:After the soak, reinsert the filter into the upper chamber with the stem facing up.5. Fill and filter:Empty any water from the lower chamber, then place the upper chamber back on and immediately fill it with fresh water to continue the filtration process.
